Saha From The Madding Crowd is a website recording my life as a football fan.
Most of the games I attend are outside the top four divisions in England. It’s cheaper to watch non-league football and you’re much more likely to feel a connection between the team and the supporters. I’m a fairly regular visitor to Dulwich Hamlet and Fisher FC.
There’s still a place for the Premier League here though, and you’ll also find reports and photos from matches outside the UK. I hold a particular affection for Spanish football and spent a month in the Basque Country in 2016 watching games in La Liga to the Tercera. Whenever I go on holiday, I try to visit a local stadium.
